My Approach to Helping
I am honored to be your choice of mental healthcare provider, together we can improve your life. A bit about me: prior to attaining licensure as a mental health care clinician, I acquired expertise in various careers. Some (5+yrs) include Active-Duty U.S. military service, metropolitan police officer, business owneroperator of Dallas Physiotherapy, and a certified educator and classroom teacher. I have worked in many venues as a clinician including medical facilities, mental health clinics, a death-row prison, Quantico, Virginia with combat troops, and military bases with active-duty troops. My B.Sc. in counseling psychology was completed at UT Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, then a graduate MSW degree from Texas A&M University. Further, I have studied and been immersed in several world religions. This life experience and academic excellence offer you the best care toward resolving your life concerns, whether they be anxiety, depression, griefloss, addictions, past trauma, relationship difficulties, life coping skills, or a combination. I enjoy working with individuals and do not work with couples. When you are ready for a positive life change, please contact me. I love my career, and when not working I enjoy home improvement, my relationship with my two adult sons, videography, chess, classical guitar, swimming, and spiritual practice.
