My Approach to Helping
Steps back can manifest in various ways: disruption in routines due to stress, life transitions, unexpected events such as personal tragedies or injuries, and concerns with general mental health, emotional well-being, and functioning. When missteps like these occur, an important strategy is to simply take 2 steps forward. This way, you are still ahead of where you were and remain way beyond the starting line.
It is possible to change the way you feel, and I am confident I can help you overcome emotional difficulties and worries, or if you are struggling with troubled relationships. My experience includes providing counselling for emotional health and relationship issues to individuals and families for a range of concerns, co-facilitating therapy and psychoeducational groups, and providing tailored interventions that effectively integrate a range of approaches, such as Systemic, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
