My Approach to Helping
Loss of purpose, low self-esteem, agitation, stress & overwhelm - these are all symptoms of having lost connection to important aspects of oneself. I am passionate about working with people to uncover the vitality and hidden wisdom that lives within each of us. I strive to be engaged, emotionally accessible and authentic - while maintaining a sense of humor. As a Jungian Analyst and psychotherapist, I will help shine light on unconscious barriers that might be hindering you, your development and the sense of satisfaction in your life. I actively participate in a process of helping you address the behaviors and beliefs that get in the way of become your full self. Together, we can foster the changes you want. In addition to talk therapy, I offer creative process work for those interested - such as Authentic Movement and Process Art.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I was licensed as a Psychotherapist when I was 28 years old. And while I was competent to do the job, I also knew my age and limited life experience was a reality. Now, over 2 decades later, I have a deep sense of gratitude for the range of experiences I have encountered in my life and the learning that these years have brought me. I have faced personal demons and I have seen unsavory aspects of my own character and learned from them. By going toward difficulty rather than trying to avoid it, I have moved closer to a center of my being that is inherently wise. The greatest value of this self examination is the discovery of inner freedom that comes of it. It is because of this that I so deeply believe in the importance of inner work.
