My Approach to Helping
"When the flower blooms, the bees come uninvited." --Ramakrishna
I help adolescents, children, and adults address challenges such as anxiety, addiction, depression, divorce, loss, post-traumatic stress, difficulty focusing, and relationship challenges. It's common to face several problems at once, and I help clients who face a complex array of challenges.
I use a cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approach. I embrace insight-oriented interventions, enabling me to help my clients resolve even the most challenging of problems.
I am passionate about helping clients who have faced complex traumas, intense emotions, and addiction. I strive to help you feel better, embrace your potential, and achieve your goals.
When you can no longer manage the tension in your relationship, couples counseling can help you develop empathy, intimacy, and communication. I know that coming to therapy can be intimidating, but I work to make your experience a beneficial and positive one.
In addition to my work with adults and adolescents, I also help children who struggle with anger, self-doubt, focus, and anxiety. I offer children a place where they can express themselves in healthy ways and improve coping skills. Empathy and support can help anyone achieve validation and contentment.
