My Approach to Helping
We all have issues: unmet needs, work stress, relationship conflicts, hurts, and more. There are times when these issues become overwhelming and interfere with your life. As a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience I effectively work with adults desiring to heal from depression, manage work stress, grief and loss issues that arise as a result of divorce, death or other life challenges, as well as couples seeking to build a more loving relationship. I will listen to your concerns and work together with you to cultivate the personal tools necessary to work through these issues. We will work together utilizing your strengths to meet your needs and improve the quality of your life. My strengths originate in my Christian background. I am compassionate in my desire to help adults through the use of psychodynamic and cognitive behavior therapies.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Making a decision to improve your life sounds easy; seeking therapy may sound difficult. However, I encourage you to view therapy as just that: an opportunity to look at yourself, your life, and recognize areas you want to change or improve. Once you do that, you've already begun your journey; the next step is to schedule an appointment. Allow yourself to continue the discussion you already have in your head with your therapist.
Please give me a call so we can begin the discussion together.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
We will work together to determine what will be the best timeline to address your concerns. During sessions we will regularly evaluate the treatment process to ensure your needs are being met. We will make a decision together to determine when treatment is no longer necessary.
