I work with individuals, couple and adolescents - with a specialty in Women's Issues and Couples in transition. I work in a very authentic, down-to-earth and interactive way and strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment so you can allow yourself to open up to your feelings.

My goal is to help you work through the issues that keep you from living the life you want. Together, we can find the decisions that are right for you - ultimately shedding the feelings of what you "should" do, and/or pressures of what others may think.

I understand and work with people making transitions related to career, relationship commitment and parenthood. Life transitions can challenge your identity and complicate relationships. I can assist in helping you sort through your feelings so you can feel confident and comfortable in your new phase of life.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

It takes a tremendous amount of courage to make a call to a counselor and ask for help. It is a strange experience visiting someone you don't know and try to open up about your life. I understand that...I've experienced that. However, if you can get over that initial difficulty, seeing a counselor may be the greatest gift you can give yourself.

By having an objective, non-judgmental perspective – you will begin to understand your behaviors, patterns and relationships on a much deeper level. Having that understanding will allow you to make the changes you desire, and create the relationships you want. You do not have to have something be terribly wrong in your life to see a therapist - just a little courage to place that first phone call or email.
