My Approach to Helping
I work with teens and young adults using a goal directed therapeutic approach. I help clients identify what is most important to them (identify values) and examine the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that prevent them from getting where they want to be in life. Our life plans don't always go the way we want them to so it's necessary to develop coping strategies, self-care techniques and self-compassion to be able to have a repertoire of skills to help us navigate through life.
