My Approach to Helping

I believe wholeheartedly in the astounding potential of each human being. I became a therapist so that I could help others believe in their own potential and increase their acceptance, authenticity, and wholeness. I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, formerly the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in psychology, with a concentration in consciousness, spirituality, and integrative health. Before entering this field I was a yoga teacher, instilling in me a great appreciation for acceptance, and present moment awareness. I am also a certified sex therapist in the state of Florida. Through these varied practices, I have learned that mind, body and spirit are all important aspects of living our most authentic, empowered lives. My philosophy of care centers on this value of authenticity — I believe once we understand who we are, we can act from a place of personal truth.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Are you looking to feel more whole? To explore more of your soul? Together we will address all the parts of YOU, including soul and spirit and find your foundation in your own inner truth.

Have you struggled to find acceptance from those around you, and even yourself, because of the way you live your life? We will work together to discover your most authentic self and you will learn that all expressions of love deserve ro be honored.
Have grief and loss created an empty space within you that feels like something was ripped out and is gone forever? You will be provided time and space to experience and process your grief, allowing wisdom, healing, and transformation to occur.

Are you looking for ways to comfortably express yourself and your needs to family, friends, coworkers, and others? You will be provided space for you to be you, and I will be your supportive ally along the way.

Do you find, as a woman, that you are expected to put others first at the expense of yourself? You will find your way back to your true value. Value, based not on what you do or how you care for others but, based on being the amazing you that you are!

Do you identify as poly, kink, or other consensually non-monogamous relationship styles? Are you looking for therapy that is respectful and accepting of your relationship preferences? We will work together to develop your best, most secure connections while gaining clarity on what is standing in the way of you living your best life.

Are you living in survival mode after experiencing a traumatic event? You will learn to feel more at ease in your body and calm your nervous system from the high alert created by trauma.

Do you want to co-create and embody a sexual life for your relationship or yourself that is authentic and loving? I believe you deserve to fully become your authentic sexual self, and I will help you get there. I have been trained as a Conscious Sexual Self Guide by Melissa Fritchle, author of The Conscious Sexual Self Workbook.

Do you want to address past trauma that happened outside of your relationship but that seems to negatively affect it on a regular basis? You will learn to grow as a team and to live in the present moment together.

My Role as a Therapist

I believe that our relationship is vitally important to the work that we do together. I encourage you to talk to me, ask me questions, and determine if you believe that we are a good fit. This transparency and honesty allows us to learn about each other from a place of mutual authenticity and respect. Together we will create a safe space to reach your most authentic, empowered self. It is truly my passion to help you in your journey to wholeness, your best life, and your most fulfilling relationships and connections.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

You are a searcher. You are searching for understanding. Searching for connection. Searching for answers. Perhaps you are searching for a place where you can be accepted just as you are. You may sometimes get stuck. Your life sometimes hits bumps in the road or enters challenging new chapters while you search for solutions. Yet when you find a new piece of insight, you don't always know what to do with it. You are searching for a safe place to explore these insights, a place to unpack your feelings, your findings, your truths. I am here to meet you where you are, to help you unpack. I am here to help you to reconfigure all of the pieces of you. To discover a you that you didn?t even know existed or to rediscover the you that was lost. The you that is whole. You?ve found what you were searching for.
