I'm passionate about helping people adjust to life's challenges, and through those challenges experience healing and growth. I want to help you feel freed up to enjoy your life, not just struggle through it.

Relationships play an important role during hard seasons. You may find yourself around people who try to offer encouragement and support. You may feel disconnected from people around you, even hurt or disappointed by those who are closest to you. Either way, when life is hard it's easy to feel alone.

Therapy is a place where you can feel less alone. It's a space where you can feel seen and known, which might not be something you experience often in your day-to-day relationships. Through connection and partnership, you can feel better and you don't have to get there on your own. I would be happy to partner with you. Let's explore together what is keeping you stuck and discover ways to cultivate more joy, fulfillment, and hope in your life.

More Info About My Practice

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Pasadena, California. I employ techniques from emotionally focused therapy and the Prepare/Enrich program to help couples understand the reasons their relationship may seem stuck and how they may resolve current conflicts.

Before entering the mental health field, I worked as an adjunct math teacher in Southern California. While I enjoyed my job, I realized it did not afford me the opportunity to connect deeply with other people. I made the decision to change my career and earned my Master?s degree in marriage and family therapy at the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Though risky, the decision to change my careers proved very rewarding. I consider it an honor to provide the professional guidance and support you need as you explore your issues, express yourself, and find the peace, joy, and long term health you deserve.
