My Approach to Helping
I am so glad that you are taking the steps to find a therapist. Life is challenging and during certain times in our life we all need extra support. As someone who has been on a personal journey to work through my anxiety I deeply value talk therapy and I see the strength in your vulnerability to reach out for support. I work with my clients to form an authentic relationship built on trust and respect. I believe that you have the answers that you are searching for within yourself and together we will identify your goals and create a plan to support you through your journey.
My Therapy Focus
I focus on helping my clients to work through their struggles through self-compassion, motivation and guided insight. If you are finding yourself admits a life transition or are continuing to struggle and can't figure out why I may be a great fit for you. I love supporting individuals who are curious about what is not working in their lives. I have found change to be challenging, scary and the most beautiful gift that we can offer ourselves.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
It is okay to be uncertain about starting therapy. This may be your first time working with a therapist or perhaps you are returning to therapy and have some doubts. And you are taking a step towards starting the process. After reading some bios you may find it helpful to give a few of us a call. I would be happy to make time to speak with you about your concerns and answer any questions that you may have. Should I feel like the right fit we will schedule a session and I will send you all the necessary paperwork electronically. From there we will meet through my secure video platform and while the first session may feel a bit awkward it will become more comfortable I will be there to walk besides you in this process.
