My Approach to Helping
Does it feel like you can never fully catch your breath? Is life going too fast, and tasks that once were trivial for you now seem overwhelming or exhausting? Keeping up with this rapidly changing world takes an immense amount of emotional fortitude. My hope is to be able to help others navigate life's obstacles with an authentic and nonjudgmental approach.
I specialized in trauma while earning my degree and have helped many individuals, couples, and families work through and overcome the aftermath of traumatic events. I also have several years of experience helping people struggling with anxiety and depression.
One of the most important aspects of the therapeutic healing process is the connection between the client and therapist, so I encourage authentic communication if you do not feel we are a good fit, as it can be an example of advocating for yourself in a powerful way.
