More Info About My Practice

If my availability does not align with your needs, I work with a team of likeminded, holistically-oriented therapists who may be a good fit for you!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My team and I are skilled at helping women and LGBTQ+ identifying folks in their 20's & 30's address Panic, Anxiety, Depression, life transitions and symptoms related to trauma.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Would you go to an eye doctor for a broken leg? Of course not. It's great to process things with friends and family members, but they are inherently biased (and may have stuff going on themselves) making it extra hard to give you what you're asking for. Therapists are highly-trained to support very specific life challenges in an unbiased goal-oriented way. Seeing a therapist can make a life-changing difference by bringing people closer to how they want to feel and how they want to live. It's not only about reducing or eliminating symptoms, it's about helping you create a life that you authentically want to take part in.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

It's an absolute honor and privilege to be a psychotherapist. I don't think of it as a "job" but more like a calling. I love seeing my clients have 'breakthrough" moments. I get so excited when my clients report feeling less anxious, less depressed, more resilient and more motivated to play an active role in shaping their life.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to guide you towards your authentic self while removing barriers that are in the way of your life goals. We are a team of homework-driven, actively engaged therapists who believe that the therapeutic work should be a collaborative and empowering process, in an outside of the therapy session. We believe in balancing acceptance and change in therapy and can help you reconnect with "you."

My Therapy Focus

My team and I focus on integrating Creative Arts Therapies with mindfulness and evidence-based talk therapy. As part of our comprehensive, creative and evidence-based approach to treat the whole person, our team holds training in a variety of treatment methods (Listed on the side).
