My Approach to Helping
Mental health can be overwhelming and difficult to experience alone; my goal is to provide an empathetic atmosphere to assist others when facing challenging situations. I have a strong desire to assist individuals in becoming the better version of themselves through the process of healing.
I have significant experience with adults and teens who have suffered a traumatic experience that is affecting their current relationships. I have found that working through one's trauma, is the most heartfelt part of therapy. Challenging depression, anxiety, and fears allow individuals to grow by learning effective coping strategies.
The therapeutic alliance is vital and I find pride in this element with my clients. My non-direct approach will encourage and empower one in order to promote positive change within themselves. I am culturally sensitive and look forward to the successful treatment outcome that will be gained through the time we have together.
