I believe that therapy has an endpoint and it's achieved by having a knowledgeable therapist and a willing client. I help people achieve their goals by offering practical tools, resources, and a place for healing. I structure therapy based on my theoretical orientation, but clients guide me in what is most useful and helpful to them.

I only work with people who have struggles that are in my area of focus because you should be in capable hands. I specialize in family conflict, relationship issues, and parent-child interaction. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harm, stress, phobias, life transitions, and trauma.

I enjoy my work because I get to see individuals/relationships that come in with helplessness and hopelessness and come out in a better place. I genuinely enjoy watching clients progress towards their goals. I do my part as a therapist and I hope to work with clients who do their share. Please visit my website for more information.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Thinking about seeing a therapist is a scary thought in itself let alone taking the steps towards therapy. No one really enjoys seeing a therapist, but at the end of the day, therapy can truly help. Don't wait until you are comfortable with the thought of seeing a therapist because you probably won't get there. Therefore, I say jump on in and remember there is no contract for the amount of time or sessions spent in therapy so you can stop whenever you wish. You have little to lose compared to what you could gain.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

There are many different therapists and it's important to find a good fit. That's why I offer a free 30-minute consultation because I want you to have a chance to meet me. Some of the things that you can look for when meeting a therapist is how comfortable you feel, how safe you feel, the atmosphere, and the potential for trust.
