I help people navigate the pain of grief and loss. If you have experienced the death of a family member or friend, you know how lonely and confusing this time can be. You may be on an emotional roller coaster where one day you feel like you're doing pretty well then the next day you are once again lost in that wilderness of pain. My life's work is to help people heal from even the most profound and life-changing losses. I worked in hospice for 12 years as a grief therapist and counseled numerous individuals and families as they dealt with their losses.

More Info About My Practice

About 6 years ago I became interested in the field of addictions. I went back to school and became credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Many of the people I have seen in my practice who are battling addictions are also experiencing profound grief issues. Working with addictions has made me a more insightful and creative therapist. I welcome those who are battling addictions. I have a nonjudgmental empathic approach which will help you find that often elusive sobriety even after multiple relapses. I never believe in shaming or blaming someone who is fighting to get back on their feet in sobriety.
