My Approach to Helping
Finding the right therapist for you is the first step towards growth, healing and understanding. You need to trust your therapist and believe in the confidentiality that will allow you to share your deepest fears, questions, feelings, and concerns. During therapy sessions, I use my experience, compassion and clinical skill to assist my clients as they seek solutions and new tools to reach their goals. I believe that joy is the birthright of every human being. I partner with my clients to help them attain the happiness, peace and fulfillment that each one deserves.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
Studies have shown that the client-therapist relationship is the most important factor in the positive outcome of psychotherapy. From the very first contact with my clients I put great effort in helping each one to feel comfortable and safe. Building rapport and trust during the therapeutic process is essential for growth and healing. I have had many clients describe their time in my office as a cocoon or an oasis from the challenges in their lives. During our sessions my clients learn new skills and tools that they take with them into their lives outside of my office. The strength of the therapeutic alliance is directly related to the long-term success of the process. I see myself as a guide and partner in the journey and take this role very seriously; I would be honored to assist you.
