My Approach to Helping

As an experienced clinical psychotherapist, I am deeply committed to helping children, adolescents , teens and adults overcome obstacles in order to gain more fulfillment in their lives. I pride myself in providing a warm, safe and nurturing environment that allows my clients to feel extremely comfortable in our therapeutic relationship. Being a licensed clinical social worker also affords me the ability to provide my clients with the knowledge of how to access numerous resources outside of the therapy setting that could benefit them tremendously.

More Info About My Practice

Although the majority of my private practice is fee-for-service, I do have a limited number of openings for clients with certain insurance plans ( Anthem Blue Cross, Keenan through Henry Mayo Hospital). My fees for therapy is $195-$210 based on sessions for individual, couples and families. I am also a contracted provider for Kaiser members, but please go through Kaiser Behavioral Health to request a referral.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

One of my areas of expertise that I thoroughly enjoy in private practice is working with children dealing with parental separation and divorce. Parental separation is hard on families, tough on parents and difficult for children. While the parents struggle with their own life changes, the children, too, are
directly affected by the family disruption and many times feel guilty believing they caused the other parent to leave. I work closely with children in helping the, cope effectively with parental divorce, and help divorcing couples learn to work cooperatively for the best interest of their children.
