My Approach to Helping
Hello there, I’m Elle and a licensed therapist in California. I help you cope with anxiety and depression through education of your harmful thinking patterns and behaviors and by providing tools that work for you.
My therapy style is supportive, encouraging, and positive. I believe it’s important to build trust and connection with you while creating a safe space for you to share and heal. One of my strongest skill set as a therapist is pulling from a combination of interventions known to effectively treat multiple mental health symptoms of anxiety and depression. I use evidence-based strategies and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) tailored to your needs and situation for the best outcome and results.
As your therapist, we’ll discuss your challenges and goals for therapy. I will develop a treatment plan based on your goals and needs for therapy. We work collaboratively and everything we do in therapy is discussed and agreed upon. With that being said, therapy is an investment in yourself that requires effort and work. You will benefit the most from therapy and working with me if you are motivated to learn about yourself and ready for change. By actively participating in your growth process and doing the work in therapy, you can see remarkable growth and transformation as I have with many clients I’ve worked with, including myself. Together, we work on current problems, develop your life toolbox so you can graduate from therapy and live the life you truly want for yourself.
