My Approach to Helping
My most favored approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy to challenge negative thoughts and behaviors and solution focused therapy to focus on strengths that elicit change. I have acquired a Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy and enjoy working to strengthen famiIy and interpersonal relationships.
Couples - I focus on rebuilding connection and communication. Two areas I highlight are understanding how and why your partner shows up in the relationship the way they do, and utilizing mindfulness and vulnerability to increase empathic, genuine and authentic communication.
Individuals - I focus on depression, anxiety, codependency, self-esteem and effects of narcissistic abuse. I enjoy helping individuals identify why they are stuck and ways to find their own voice to become unstuck and create the life they want.
