My Approach to Helping
There are many reason why you find yourself seeking therapy at this time, however, I imagine a consistent theme may be the desire to begin building the life and relationships you desire. Therapy is one of the few spaces in which insightful, thought-provoking connections can thrive; allowing room for new understanding, fostering growth and healing past wounds. Ultimately, providing the necessary space and time to heal. While I build my practice from many schools of therapeutic technique, I truly believe the relationship between client and therapist is the most important piece of the counseling experience and the healing process. The foundation of my practice is built on fostering meaningful connections in a safe environment using empathy, compassion and curiosity. I will provide a nonjudgmental environment in which we will work together to strengthen relationships, embrace your whole self, increase self-awareness and find deeper understanding of patterns in your life.
