My Approach to Helping
On our journey through life we come into contact with a lot of beautiful and inspiring experiences, but along the way, we are bound to also come into contact with experiences that cause pain. During and after these times depression, stress, anxiety, and other emotions may begin to filter into areas of our life. Therapy is one of the few spaces in which insightful, thought-provoking connections can thrive; allowing room for gaining new understanding, fostering growth and healing past wounds. Therapy can be the first step to a new start. The foundation of my practice is built on fostering meaningful connections in a safe environment using empathy, compassion, and curiosity. I will provide a nonjudgmental environment in which we will work together to strengthen relationships, embrace your whole self, increase self-awareness, and find a deeper understanding of patterns in your life. My straightforward approach allows you to be a part of your treatment from beginning to end and is founded in a strong emphasis on listening and understanding. I specialize in treating the whole person in my work with individuals dealing with a variety of things such as, but not limited to, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and trauma.
