My Approach to Helping

I believe in addressing the whole person in a stigma-free environment. My holistic approach to counseling and therapy utilizes mindfulness and strength-based approaches to empower each client and help them use their own talents and strengths to improve their lives in a meaningful way. I believe that the body and mind are linked and that health and wellness encompasses emotional, cognitive, and spiritual as well as physical. Each person coming to me has the opportunity to not only address their presenting concerns but grow in satisfaction with their life. As an state approved clinical supervisor, I also encourage those I supervise to look at the whole person and focus on an ethical and empowering approach to helping those we serve.
