My Approach to Helping
I appreciate that making the decision to come to therapy can be intimidating. You may feel conflicting emotions about therapy; you have the desire to be free of difficult emotions that are sabotaging your happiness and success, but apprehensive about discussing your innermost feelings with a therapist. I completely understand your misgivings and will do all I can to help you feel comfortable, known and truly understood. In therapy you will not be judged, your values will not be judged, it is a place of compassionate acceptance. My practice has been shaped through many years living, traveling and working in cultures and countries around the world. My therapeutic style is relaxed, interactive, supportive and responsive. I invite you to explore the issues affecting your life, together we will sort out and identify ways to address challenges and find solutions in order to realize positive, practical change.
