My Approach to Helping

Has your world shifted away from where you once felt assured and happy? I help adults suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, experiencing relationship difficulties. Specifically, I treat individuals struggling with effects of trauma and chronic pain, who feel crushed and helpless. I know well how difficult the first step of asking for help can be. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment to explore any challenges you may be facing. I look forward to helping you make changes.

I am a holistic therapist. Having a strong medical background and extensive psychotherapy training, I deeply understand how psychological stress affects both mind and body. There are many ways how our brain and body create, increase and prolong pain by locking up the unprocessed negative emotions related to the past traumas. When we feel stuck and overwhelmed by painful feelings, we need help to regain our balance. I offer integrative psychotherapy combined with Mindfulness and Eastern techniques for stress reduction that leads to healing and integration. Getting relief from emotional and physical pain, you will be able to build meaningful connections with yourself and others, feel more secure and self-accepted.
Establishing a nonjudgmental dialogue, I encourage my client to discover together new perspectives and alternative ways for overcoming stress and resolving conflicts. Would you like to be confident in making your own decisions? You are not alone now, let’s start our conversation!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have worked in different countries over my long career of mental health professional. Immigration Trauma is an additional area of my expertise that directly related to my clinical and own personal life experience. I am passionate about helping young adults struggling with feelings of loss, adaptation difficulties during their life transition in the new country.
I also learned that in many health conditions people can be severely affected by health-related stigma and discrimination. Especially, a stigma of mental illness frequently prevents an individual from seeking professional help. Effects of internalized stigma can have a profound impact on the personal physical and emotional well-being. Dialogue with a therapist is the best way to reduce effects of stigma, to enhance client's awareness and self-confidence.
