My Approach to Helping
“a helping hand when life doesn’t make sense”
My pursuit has been to provide a helping hand to folks who are hurting, sad, tired, confused, angry, betrayed, discouraged, or disconnected. With all the joys and blessings that life can bring, it can also bring a sense of being uncertain how to proceed or being overwhelmed to the point of dismay. Let me assist you as you sort through some of the challenges you find unpleasantly persistent. I work with individuals, adults, children, and adolescents, and couples and families. I specialize in the areas of mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), trauma recovery (including PTSD), anxiety (social, generalized, specific), panic attacks, stress identification and management, anger issues, relationship issues, marital conflict, marital dissatisfaction, infidelity, and how to become a whole person. Using the life experience brought by being a husband, father, and grandfather, and counselor for forty years, I believe you and I can engage together in a therapeutic process that allows you to feel better, live better, love better, and enjoy life more fully.
