My Approach to Helping
Greetings, hello, and a HUGE kudos on taking this step for yourself. Prioritizing our mental health is very important, and I want to help you get to where you want to be at your own pace. I believe we make changes when we are ready and cannot do it for anyone else, so I encourage you to ask yourself, “Am I ready?” and “What do I want?” I will challenge you, and sometimes we may have those dreaded difficult conversations; however, I believe it is sometimes necessary to address the elephant in the room to become the best version of ourselves.
Have you ever felt low and didn’t understand why or felt so overwhelmed that you didn’t even know how to get your day started? Well, I can help you put some of those puzzle pieces together. I have a history of working with individuals with a broad range of concerns, including depression, stress and anxiety, lack of coping skills, issues with anger, relationship issues, past trauma, poor communication, abuseneglect, self-esteem issues, relationship issues and family conflict with a focus on adults, adolescents (ages 11-17) and couples.
