Katy Psychological Services, PLLC is a small business and we pride ourselves on being able to give you individualized attention. We start out by meeting with you (or the parent if you are wanting treatment for a child) to talk with us and share your concerns. Then, we will give your our professional advice and offer a treatment plan that can be a combination of an evaluation, therapy, or perhaps both. We offer both therapy and evaluations for most psychological concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, teen issues, self-esteem, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and others. Please see our website for pricing and a complete list of services...or better yet, call us so we can determine if we are a good fit for you.

More Info About My Practice

We offer services to children, adolescents, and adults. Most of us are busy...even too busy. We understand. That's why we offer therapy appointments for after school, evening, and even on Saturdays.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

Developing trust in your therapist is by far the most important factor when choosing a professional for guidance, help, and support. Research studies have actually shown that something known as "therapeutic alliance" is the number one factor in whether or not a client improves--regardless of what the therapist's techniques are or level of experience. You have to be able to connect with the therapist first and be able to trust them. Not every therapist's personality will fit yours. If you want someone who is warm, kind, but also direct and willing to challenge you outside of your comfort zone a bit, then we might be a good match. However, that's something we really can't determine for sure until we get that chance to meet in person.
