My Approach to Helping
There is no more important or closer relationship you will have with anyone than the one you have with yourself. The source of much of our stress and dis-ease comes from a disconnect with self. Struggles with relationships, work, familial bonds, romantic entanglements, social engagement, and friendships, all stem from our awareness or lack of awareness of self. We are made up of many parts and when those parts are out of balance we become stuck. Stuck in patterns of depression, anxiety, loss, grief, frustration, anger, disappointment, loneliness, confusion, and despair. Whether you are single, in a relationship, a parent or a child.
I have almost 10 years of counseling experience. I believe that healing requires balance and therefore I take a holistic approach to my work with you. All parts of the person are explored that means mind(thoughts feelings), body(stored energy-somatic experiencing) and spirit (finding meaning purpose). My approach is eclectic with a focus on person-centered.
Where you are is not where you are destined to be. We all have roadblocks on our journey through life. Counseling could make the difference in whether you set up camp in your current situation or continue on your journey exploring the wonderful sights that await you. "When the student is ready the teacher will appear." Allow me to offer you my service.
