My Approach to Helping

I help people go to a place called "Better". My philosophy is that anyone can go there and be better especially with the right help. I help people like you go to a place called "better", become happier and cope more effectively as well as resolve the issues and challenges that they bring to me. I am a licensed therapist with a specialty and certification in the treatment of trauma. I am also certified in the highly effective method of Thought Field Therapy. I have used this to help many hundreds of people resolve the issues that they bring to me whether it be related to trauma or not. I have 15+ years behind me having successfully worked with those with a very wide variety of issues as previously stated on this site. The combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Thought Field Therapy helps to make that significant improvement occur. On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

A lot of people are on the same fence. Unfortunately it is not beneficial being up there. From my experience in the therapy room, 'joining with' someone who is confidential, solution focused, empathic and skilled at what they do in the therapy room is a better place to be. How I do what I do in the therapy room makes all the difference. That is, using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with the power therapy of Thought Field Therapy joined with the necessary Person Centered Therapy, can really help you get off the fence and onto the forward-moving ground where progress in your life can be made.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Actually, from what I have experienced, going to therapy means you ARE much stronger than you may feel; you have made it this far, maybe by sheer grit. Now you can be ready to take the next steps to move further to the place called "Better". Whether you have experienced traumatic incidents, have chronic challenges in your thinking and feeling, feel as though you cannot continue on, feel stuck, or simply need to make some direction changes in your life and cannot decide which way to go, joining with a skilled therapist can help YOUR progress. One of my favorite sayings is "The day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was greater than the risk it took to blossom." I believe you are strong enough to take the steps to blossom.
