My Approach to Helping
You might be in a very dark and lonely place, or you may be feeling intense anxiety and sometimes even panic or perhaps maybe you are dealing with a lot of pain and uncertainty due to illness or disability. Your problems have interfered with your friendships, your relationships, your marriage so right now may or may not have people around that help and support you but even so, you don’t feel like they can help even if they wanted to.
This is the moment of knowing that something has to change and you’re ready but you just don’t know how to do it on your own. You want to feel better. you want to get back to a time where things were easier or less chaotic or less complicated to deal with and you just want to be yourself again or maybe a different version of yourself.
As your therapist, I can be a flashlight as you walk through this shadowy path that you find yourself on right now.
Whether I use solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused couples therapy, or a mix of techniques, what matters most is the safe environment we will create so that you can share openly and allow yourself to be vulnerable with someone who will listen without judgment.
I am able to put people at ease very quickly, I listen well and when I am in session with you the only thing that matters is what you were telling me. I am warm, caring, and friendly.
Call me today so we can get you on a brighter path.
