My Approach to Helping

Denise is a NY state licensed clinical social worker whose experience since graduating from NYU's MSW program in 2004 includes working with a vast range of clients in a multitude of settings which include hospital, forensic, and college counseling centers. She uses an integrated approach consisting of CBT, insight-oriented, psychodynamic and interpersonal psychotherapy. Her areas of interest include; stress management, self-esteem, assertiveness, and relationship skills building. She believes strongly in the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients that is built on trust, empathy, and promotes growth.
