My Approach to Helping
Looking for a therapist to help you negotiate your concerns, traumas or problems? I will work to help you feel safe and able to trust that you will be respected and provided with a non judgemental and caring connection. I have years of experience working with people in crisis and transition. I have respect for your individual process and will provide you with support and tools. I will empower you to gain awareness to make the needed changes in order to achieve personal goals and healthier relationships. In my practice I utilize a holistic, evidence based combination of Person Centered Therapy, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy and mindfulness based techniques to individualize treatment and collaborate with you. My strength based approach looks at the mind, body and emotions and their impact on the issues, in order to facilitate growth, change and healing. Taking that first step by seeking out a therapist was a good start.
