My Approach to Helping

I believe all individuals can find the path that has the greatest meaning for them, and I am there to walk their journey with them, supporting them as they move forward. I hear their stories and help them find positive meaning in them.

More Info About My Practice

I accept the following insurances: Highmark, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, MHNet, and Coventry Plan.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to hear the voices of my clients. I accept them as they are, but I also supply a mirror so that they can better understand themselves, so that they can select new paths, if they wish, or continue as they are.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have walked down many paths in my life and worn many hats. My experiences, including past physical and emotional traumas, have allowed me to find the empathy that supports others as they face challenges in their lives. When I hear of their pain and concerns, I understand at a level that allows for total acceptance of who they are, so that they can heal and move forward.
