My Approach to Helping
Making the choice to start therapy is sometimes a very difficult decision, therefore, I provide empathy while challenging people to promote growth and change. My approach is collaborative in nature, and I encourage people to communicate their goals. More Info About My Practice
My previous 16 years of work was in the government contracting field. After 10 years in the industry, I made the choice to do what I love, and that is to help people. After 6 years in school while working full-time, I graduated with my masters degree. As a resident-in-counseling I work under the supervision of Natalia Lueck, LPC. My availability is Monday (12-6pm), Tuesday (12-3 pm), Wednesday (12-6 pm) and Thursday (1-5 pm).

My role as a therapist is to guide you through the therapeutic process and to provide a safe space for communication and collaboration on your goals. I provide a non-judgmental atmosphere to process feelings, encourage change, and work toward meeting your individual goals.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Making the decision to enter therapy is a personal decision and at times, very difficult. Most clients are anxious and nervous about their first therapy session, and whether or not this is the right step for them. My therapy approach is genuine and understanding of the feelings you may have. Please do not hesitate to communicate your feelings with me at the time of initial consultation.
