I'm passionate about helping couples enliven their relationships while helping individuals navigate challenges that prevent them from thriving. I do my very best to offer you a safe space where you can safely explore challenging subjects. I rely on a mix of EMDR and cognitive-behavioral therapy for individuals, and Gottman Method and emotionally focused therapy for couples. Plenty of approaches can help you make the progress you desire, so if one approach isn't right, we'll try something else.

More Info About My Practice

The office is conveniently located to the 15 at the Rancho Bernardo exit. I'm an out of network Tricare provider, but if you have Reserve Select or Tricare Standard, I can directly bill your insurance, and you can pay your normal copay. I also offer free treatment through the Give an Hour and Soldiers Project programs.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have a special interest in helping people work through and overcome the many life experiences that may be keeping them from living their best lives. I also have a strong interest in helping couples experience their best possible relationship - even after affairs or other occurrences that may seem like deal-breakers at first glance.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

More than any other factor in therapy, you need to feel comfortable with your therapist. You need to feel heard, understood, and safe. For that reason, I've made an effort to have an office that's comfortable, and to be a person who is caring and approachable. My goal is for you to feel like this is a place where you can be real and find healing.
