My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with an interest in holistic healing.
I graduated in 1976 with a degree in Sociology.. After raising a daughter, I decided my true calling was to help others navigate the difficulties life can bring, and assist in healings of the heart. I went back to school after 30 years, and graduated with a Masters in Psychology and five years later a Doctorate in Naturopathy.
As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist and holistic therapist my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues
I encourage you to succeed in your life by leaving the past behind and helping you to take action and reach your goals.I am energetic, and direct while empathic and compassionate of your situation. Discussing the problems you are experiencing in your life with me can provide an alternative perspective, allowing us to discover appropriate and healthy ways on how to resolve the troubles you are having, and how to deal with things you can not change. By talking openly, you learn to modify your situation and prevent the same issues from disrupting your life.

Having a Doctorate in Naturopathy allows me to support you with finding a healthy balance in your world and maintain positive relationships and gain new insight. I can suggest supplements and herbals that aid in your healing while working to regain your sense of self and purpose.
The most important criteria of "therapy" is a feeling of validation, and knowing that your therapist, or guide, or mentor, or whatever label you give them is open to hearing and listening --being with you in your situation, supporting you to find the solution that brings solace, peace, serenity and joy to the quality of your life, which I call a "wellness" philosophy-- with common sense.
