I believe that you are the expert on your own life. With unconditional positive regard, I'm here to support you. The goal of therapy is for you to learn what you need in order to help yourself feel better. It's my job to be with you on the journey, focusing on your growth and not what's wrong with you. You are NOT your issue. Your issue is a manifestation of something out of line in your life. So let's work together to find what that is, so we can work to alleviate your symptoms.

More Info About My Practice

I enjoy helping mothers, children and families heal. Sometimes major family changes such as divorce or even moving can upset the balance and the family needs additional work to find its new normal. Whether it's emotional issues, finding a routine, or behavioral issues causing your life to feel unbearable, I'm here to help. It's important to take care of yourself through these trying times. While therapy is hard work, I'm here with you along the journey.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I believe that Therapy is similar to working on a car. If your car breaks down, you wouldn't just leave it by the side of the road. You'd find a mechanic to work on it. You'd get it serviced, and you'd make the necessary sacrifices and changes needed to keep it running. Why do we do this for our car, but not ourselves? Sometimes you have moments where you feel overwhelmed, sad, tired, unsure, and sometimes downright uncomfortable in your skin. Therapy can be what you need to get you back to running like yourself. Your mechanic- the therapist, can help you in various areas of your life, and ultimately get you running like you were before. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as any other area in your life because it impacts so much. Getting healthy means getting stronger, whether mentally, or physically... and it takes a lot of strength to even ask for help. Don't go through life feeling bad, and running low. Take care of yourself.
