My Approach to Helping

Enjoy working with children, families and couples who want to build on self esteem, self worth, goals, and dreams for their lives. We all doing the very best we can with the knowledge we have and in counseling we get to learn new tools to propel ourselves further and in a healthier way. I am a proud Army veteran and enjoy working with service members and their families as well as those who have children with cognitive delays.

My Role as a Therapist

Groups I Work With

In my practice I see teenagers working on emotion regulation, two household issues, and defiance. While working with the teens I offer parenting assistance, family counseling and couples counseling to address the whole family dynamic. When children are having issues it is best to incorporate the family system to work on the issues together. I enjoy couples counseling to address co-parenting, splitting peacefully and couples who want the marriage to work and continue. I believe families are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Counseling helps build the tool belt and provides new ways to cope and address stressors in ones life.
