My Approach to Helping
I work with my Clients to identify what goals and desires have been set in the past, what has yet to be achieved, and what has been attempted until present day to reach said goals. From there determination of potential best practice approaches coupled with my Clients' desires to reach said goals are established to begin a new path to goal attainment through therapy.
Key elements of working with me in therapy would be to understand that the premise in life to effect change is that one can only control their own thoughts and actions to attempt to reshape one's emotional state. not the thoughts, actions or emotions of others. Secondly, adopting a continually positive approach to the further will align with my session design as we move toward the clients' overall goals attainment together.
