At DC Talk Therapy, we specialize in working with young adults (20s and 30s). Since we opened our practice in 2012, we've helped more than 1,000 people live a happier and more satisfying life. Our therapists primarily use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in treating clients. CBT focuses on modifying maladaptive or distorted thoughts about ourselves or the rest of the world as a way to change resulting feelings and behavior.
The therapists at DC Talk Therapy believe that individual therapy -- as well as couples counseling and group therapy -- can be tremendously rewarding, even life-changing. We see therapy as very much a collaborative process, so we ask clients for feedback throughout the process. We want the client's experience to be as valuable as possible.
