Improving your life through personal growth is a significant part of accessing the best parts of yourself. Whether working with you individually or as a couple, recognizing your value as a human being is at the forefront of my work. I am a firm believer that without an embracing of our life experiences, we discount the value of what we have gained whether it be conscious or unconscious. As a therapist one of my goals is to help bring relief from what has brought you into therapy. Providing a safe relationship between therapist and client within a non-judgmental environment helps to find more acceptance of yourself with hope and optimism for the future. I believe this to be the foundation in developing the kind of relationship that enables you to find more of what you truly deserve as a human being. This added measure of freedom, and healthy empowerment brings with it a life of meaning and purpose.

In our society today, we tend to have hectic lives filled with the busyness of the day. This naturally brings about stress on top of whatever stressors already exist. Taking some healthy time for ourselves to gather our thoughts provides the opportunity to open up new possibilities in how we approach life. We can turn our adversity into an advantage for the greater good, and not lose yourself in the process. As your therapist, I seek to assist you in finding your balance that allows room to process your thoughts. I provide a form of facilitation that brings you to your own conclusions, however if need be, I will interject my thoughts for added suggestion and/or clarification. Validation is fundamental in my approach as I believe you are far more aware of your issues than I am; we just look to put the pieces together that makes sense to you. Without a firm grasp of these issues at hand, I am unable to give you the care and support you deserve. Yes, it does require a commitment to personal growth, but if your willing count me in.

Life experiences influence everything, including our perceptions, thoughts, feelings, and actions. Our behavior is a manifestation of our belief system and we are able to value all that makes its way through the timeline of our lives. Finding stability brings added clarity with options that provide you with the greatest opportunities. This cannot be forced as it must make its way with support, and timing is key. As an eclectic therapist, I draw on several approaches that are in your best interest. Establishing a genuine healthy connection with you often comes before the best work begins and only adds to the experience of a productive working relationship. This enables a foundation of trust unlike any other. Finding more wisdom through added knowledge and understanding is a basic premise in the work helping you learn skills that simplify the process. I look forward to the privilege and honor of working with you to help you find more of what it is that will make a difference in your life.

More Info About My Practice

With current conditions of the healthcare industry, insurance has become more complicated than ever. I work with a vast range of clientel that suffer from challenging and often unique disorders / addictions. As a society at large, greater access to your information is being made available going from one hand to another; this causes us great concern. I take pride in providing a service that enables me to disclose limited information that many providers in-networks must make available. As a courtesy, we will file your insurance for you and provide you with feedback of the current status, and assist in navigating the obstacles. Being out-of-network, yet credentialed brings about an added measure of safety in protecting your privacy. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us in protecting your interest, even more so with potentially damaging relationships and reputations.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

You have more than likely either been challenged with a recent tragedy or a somewhat of a pattern of distruction to yourself and / or others. Perhaps you continually find yourself struggling with simply the sheer thought of sharing some of the more private matters in your life. One of your best resources in making a determination would be through a referral. Another would be with someone who is skilled in your partiular area of interest. Some specialize and have several years experience in working with various populations. Your relationship with the therapist must be one with an authentic, genuine individual who "gets" you. There are no substitutes when it comes to seeking out the best. Do your homework, search out the therapists name for any feedback the internet may provide; your time will be well spent.
