My Approach to Helping
David is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and Brightline’s Chief Medical Officer. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families across many conditions and concerns—helping them to move forward in their care.
David is also a faculty member at the Yale School of Medicine, and was previously the medical director of the Yale Child Study Center Outpatient Clinic. Among his many contributions to the field, David developed the Autism Mental Status Exam (AMSE), which is a brief and free diagnostic assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder used globally.
David earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
