My Approach to Helping
Psychological difficulties are uniquely human. We all think and feel, and thoughts/emotions can be the source of our greatest achievements or our most painful inner experiences. Psychotherapy is often sought out by individuals who are struggling or dealing with some kind of personal or mental health issue. Its value lies in providing the individual with the appropriate atmosphere to work through and resolve the issues they are facing.
I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic techniques. I work from a relational/interpersonal perspective and believe that an effective therapist is one who is flexible and has the ability to adapt to each individual's needs.
