My Approach to Helping

Relationship Expert...helping you rapidly address and repair painful challenges that occur in your relationships, and, your reactions to them...whether they be personal, professional, or? With a deliberate and intentional approach to healing, together, we will identify your "blind spots" creating powerful but easy to implement proven ways, providing you with renewed and gratifying connections with yourself and others. All leading to a path of successful, more desired living and experiences.
I understand that when you're stuck in a painful pattern it may appear that you will always feel that way, but, as an experienced relationship therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people and training numerous professionals (in the mental health field); I know that there is always hope and solutions that will help you to address/overcome your challenges.
I have a variety of clinical approaches to help you and will use my skilled intuition in choosing which methods will work best for you. My clients all say they love the emotional safety/support that I provide, which helps you to more easily communicate the issues that you would like help with. Through compassionate listening, with intent to what you are saying, together I'll help you understand and dismantle destructive patterns that are impacting your life and relationships. If your coupled in a relationship and things seem to be in disarray, I can see you together or separately, and help to get you to a better place.

My Therapy Focus

When you and I meet, either in individual, or couples therapy, you will appreciate almost immediately, that I am keenly aware that "Life is Short". Accordingly, I ensure in the therapy environment that the preciousness of life is always at the forefront... My sincere intention is to support and encourage you in making proper decisions today, as those decisions can germinate into long term (conflictual) weeds...or, into more desired, blooming, nurturing flowers. The key here, is that it's all up to you, charged with a better more appropriate outlook.

Through the years of working with thousands of people, I can honestly say I believe we human beings are more alike than not. We all want the same thing...that is, to be loved and accepted.

It has been my experience that most often I see good people, who are getting in their own way of accepting and feeling loved. They rationalize that the normal "thorns" of life, ie: break-ups, betrayal, financial hardships, losses, disappointment with children/ significant others, health concerns, etc... are evidence of their personal failure. They incorrectly conclude these are reasons for giving up on themselves, or a particular relationship, thus eliciting a sense of doom and gloom. This can a painfully vulnerable and depressing place to be in. In order to take in love, live more productively and peacefully, one must learn to transform incorrect personalised perceptions of life....into learning to accept those things which we feel unacceptable...and istead take positive action.

I can help guide you through what feels like the impossible...especially if you believe things will not get better. My eyes of experience will light up the way for you to see where and when you have been blinded. Together, we will walk through the pain, and together, we will honor your past, then clean and prune your garden; creating fresh thoughts and new behaviors. All of which will create a renewed place of strength and hope. As many of my clients report, and maybe for you as well, for the first time... you'll be able to live and relish in the life that you've always wanted to have...
