My Approach to Helping
I strongly believe my clients are not defined by their mental health symptoms and that anyone is capable of finding the personal power to meet goals. I serve adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, addiction, LGBTQI+ issues, personality disorders, autism, and more.
I earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in human development counseling from the University of Illinois, Springfield. I am also a National Certified Counselor.
In therapy, I do not take a “one size fits all" approach, but often uses existential, experiential, and explorative methods to help clients create change. In every case, my office is a safe space where all are welcome to be their authentic selves without fear of judgment.
