My Approach to Helping
Everyone struggles throughout their life and faces a variety of challenging life situations. You may be struggling with a relationship, struggling with a physical or mental health issue or have persistent sadness, anxiety or worries that are getting in the way of your life. Working with a therapist can help you process issues that may be too difficult to work through on your own.
I have worked as a helping professional for more than 25 years and I would like to use my education, career experience and life experiences to help you work through whatever challenges you may be facing. But I will also help you develop the coping skills and stress management skills that will allow you to eventually manage and work through similar challenges on your own.
I am a trustworthy and open-minded person and I provide a safe, supportive, and open setting to listen and to help you get on the path where you want to be. I am a good listener and strive to assist my clients with achieving their goals through attentive listening, providing support, and empowerment. We’re partners in the development and success of your well-being.
I became a therapist because I enjoy working with and helping people and know that therapy can have a positive impact on a person’s life. I want to assist people with goal achievement and to become the person that they want to be.
I currently have evening availability and I am accepting new in-person clients as well as teletherapy clients.
