“I want to help people”—that’s the answer you would likely receive if you asked any therapist the reason he or she chose to pursue a career in mental health care. And while this response is likely true, it is also much deeper than it appears. Danielle wants to help people navigate their personal challenges and live the happy, fulfilling life they deserve. She is passionate about helping people to reconnect with their parents, and helping marriage mates become the husbands and wives they truly want to be.

Danielle specializes in working with couples. She assists with trust issues, communication issues, lack of intimacy, infidelity, sexual issues, and major decision making (concerning children, finances, and other matters). She provides premarital therapy as well as marital/relational enrichment. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in solution-focused therapy and emotion-focused therapy. She also offers mental health services in individual and group therapy settings.

Danielle promotes healing, self-esteem, and confidence as she works with the people in her care. She also provides expert advice for individuals who need help with career planning. Her training as a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist allows her to view situations from multiple perspectives, identify the underlying reasons for thought and behavioral patterns, evaluate how lives and relationships may be affected, and find healthy solutions that work.

More Info About My Practice

I also offer doula and training services. What is a doula you ask? The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning "a woman who serves" and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother and her family before, during and just after birth.

A doula also educates mother and partner about the pregnancy and childbirth process. They help the family understand all of their options so that they can make informed decisions. A doula will collaborate with both partner and doctors/nurses to ensure that all of the families needs are met. Advocation is another big part of what a doula does, ensuring that the informed decisions that the family have made are being heard, respected and carried out.
