My Approach to Helping
Talking about your feelings and deepest secrets can be difficult and uncomfortable. Even more terrifying is accepting a life that remains uncomfortable and without purpose. I am here to listen to your concerns with an empathetic ear. I will help you find comfort in the things you cannot change, and help you change those things you believe cannot be changed. Within change is growth. Within growth is purpose. And within purpose is a life well lived.
I will help you identify, confront, and resolve your concerns, leaving you with a more positive outlook on life, a sense of comfort, and a life with purpose. This is accomplished through the process of psychotherapy.
Please feel free to reach out to me should you have questions regarding this process. I understand it can seem overwhelming for some.
I look forward to working with you!

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Some people seem to have it all. The perfect home, the perfect partner, the perfect job...the perfect life! What many do not realize is that many of those seemingly perfect people have struggles too. I am no different. Growing up in a lower income family, losing a parent in my teens, losing my home to a flood, countless failed relationships, and struggles with my own mental health symptoms have made life unbearable at times. This makes me a very effective therapist. Not because I know exactly what you are feeling, but because I understand the struggle- the misery it brings- and the hopelessness that ensues. I attend my own therapy once weekly, even in the absence of current concerns because therapy is that important to living a life with purpose and contentment. I firmly believe in this process of therapy and highly recommend if you are suffering from any similar concerns you reach out to a therapist and schedule an appointment. The only thing you have to lose is a life with purpose, feeling content and whole, and an increase in feelings of happiness.
