My Approach to Helping
Dana is a licensed psychotherapist who works with adults and adolescents focusing on such issues as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma.
Dana provides a safe space for clients to freely explore all the different aspects of themselves, taking special care to embrace the difficult and sometimes shameful parts. Dana believes in forging a collaborative therapeutic relationship and draws heavily from psychodynamic theory, mindfulness practice, dialectical behavior therapy skills, and strength-based models.
Dana received her Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Public Health from Boston University.
