My Approach to Helping
I am a Jungian Psychotherapist and believe that we each have a destiny. Various perceptions, experiences, and life events can disrupt our path to that destiny. Many people feel stuck, or struggle to abandon old thoughts and behaviors. The soul may experience symptoms such as mood disorders, depression, and anxiety in an attempt to move us forward. By working through these symptoms, it's possible to achieve a more positive life outlook. My goal is to help my clients work through their symptoms and build upon their strengths. Discovering those strengths can reduce negative symptoms and help you move forward into a bright future and a more zestful life outlook.
I have worked with families, couples, adolescents, and individuals. I use psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches, including working with synchronicities and dreams. Therapy includes psycho-spiritual interventions and strategies that can help you hone your insights and broaden your personality.
I graduated from the University of South Dakota with master's and doctoral degrees in psychology and counseling. I also hold a doctor of ministry and a master of divinity. I have more than 25 years of experience working as a Jungian therapist with families, groups, and individuals.
