My Approach to Helping
My goal is to help you to begin to heal yourself and your relationships. I enjoy knowing that my clients come to a point of not needing services because they have learned the skills to manage on their own. You have everything you need within yourself. It is my job to help you to find your way. I have an integrative approach, believing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I believe in shorter therapies and afterward, occasional check-ins when you feel you need a refresher or a new intervention, possibly help with new symptoms. You are in control of your wellness and your future. Wouldn't it be amazing to make some shifts in your thinking to live life to the fullest?
Whether you are experiencing relational difficulties, grief, hoarding, depression, anxiety, PTSD, habits or hangups, I'd like to help guide your journey to becoming an over-comer.
More Info About My Practice
As I am am nearing licensure in Idaho, I am looking for couples who would like some help. In order to meet my goal to become licensed, I need some couple hours. This is where you come in. I am offering a free relationship check up during the months of August and September, up to an hour ad a half per couple. I am also willing to work with couples who are having a hard time financially and want to continue, as this alone can cause increased stress and decreased marital satisfaction. Think you can't afford couples therapy? Think again.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
It is important to tell your therapist about all of your symptoms from the beginning, even if it is difficult. It is also important to tell how these symptoms are affecting your life and getting in your way. This allows me to show you unconditional respect and help build the trust needed for successful treatment, to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, as well to determine the possible length of treatment.
